back to tiger household cavalry forward to press-up Anubis
horse head household cavalry queen
salute mechanism
This is Household cavalry , a daft automata if I say so myself . Designed by Paul Spooner and made by Matt Smith .    The soldiers inside the pantomime horse walk along supporting the queen in her fluffy pink slippers ( paul had just bought a flocking machine ) then the queen turns to salute you. I love it !!
The box is made of maple and the rest is constructed using the usual variety of materials.
There were 24 made in November 1993.
It is 130mm x 90mm x 220mm high.
