Born in 1965, in leicester england . After spending some time at various schools and six weeks or so at The Falmouth School of Art I decided that I would rather spend my time making silly things. I began making Automata in 1980 and then in 1986 Paul Spooner and I formed the Fourteen Balls toy co. , Selling work through The Cabaret Mechanical Theatre, first in Falmouth, and then in covent garden and through private commissions.

Since 2003 I have been producing my own designs .

 I work from my Falmouth based workshop and have work in private collections and public exhibitions all over the world.
